It's All Connected - with Gut Connection KIDS by Country Life
I was at the dentist the other day and the dentist asked me what kind of toothpaste I had been using. I quickly without thinking told him I usually use one of the "crunchy mom" kinds. He looked at me with a very confused look on his face and I realized he had no idea what "crunchy mom" meant. I proceeded to ramble on about how it just meant that you like to stick to the organic and natural type products for you and/or your children. I guess not everyone speaks the ‘natural mom’ lingo!
That same day I came home to a "crunchy mom" package that I was really excited about receiving from Gut Connection by Country Life! I was really looking forward to trying the following products that we received: Gut Connection Kid's Digestive Balance, Gut Connection Kid's Immune Balance, Gut Connection Cognitive Balance, Gut Connection Kid's Sleep Balance. LG started 1st grade this year (can you believe it?!) and sometimes has a little issue focusing. So I was really looking forward to seeing how the Cognitive Balance worked for her. We tried it for about a week and she has improved on concentration. During her schooling she seems to be more alert and quick to respond to her questions which I was so happy about. This product may be one to consider for any moms having the same issues or as your child enters regular school after doing virtual learning. I would think that this would help them get back into the swing of things! My girls have been taking the Immune Balance as well and will definitely continue as we transition back into the “real world” of having to go out and do things again. If one of them gets a cold I use these for the other to help prevent them from getting sick with whatever her sister has. I used it the last time Lil got a cold and knock on wood LG hasn’t gotten it and I think it’s because of the Immune Balance!
We also tried the Sleep Balance as well. It’s a powder to mix into a drink. It comes in a chocolate flavor which is great for little ones. The girls are always wanting hot cocoa and don’t care that it’s not even cold out yet! They just love it regardless. In fact, they’re literal mini me’s. They told me the other night that they had our plans all set for the night: hot cocoa, a fire in the fireplace, and a Hallmark Christmas movie. I just about died! My girls! The Sleep Balance is perfect to add to their hot cocoa on nights that they have a hard time sleeping, or when they’re feeling a little ill. I’ve always felt so bad when they were sick and would have a sore throat or something and couldn’t get to sleep. They feel so much better the next day when they can sleep comfortably and this Sleep Balance helps them fall right to sleep! I think this would be great for helping with that along with creating or recreating a regular sleep schedule too. Once again — great for the transition from at home virtual school where schedules were different back to regular schooling schedules and early mornings!
I completely believe that your gut health is directly tied to your overall health! LG got sick a few years ago and it was so awful trying to figure out what was wrong with her. I wish we would have known about the Digestive Balance at that time. It was something that started with her stomach and caused other issues. Once we found out why she was getting sick; it truly made me believe in the importance of what we put in our body and how we care for our body. The connection of the two is incredible!
