Floridays Resort Orlando

Updated: Jun 23, 2020

Looking for a family friendly resort or hotel outside of Disney property? Look no further, I have you covered!

Floridays Resort Orlando on International Drive quickly steals the show for the best family resort in Orlando based on a number of things including price, location and hospitality! We were hosted by Floridays Resort Orlando for a total of 5 nights, and we had a 3 bedroom suite. We were very impressed with the huge amount of space for our family. Being able to find that much space is perfect for a multi-generational family like ours. We try to do as much as we can as a family and I knew that if my family could swing it, they weren't going to miss my girls' first trip to Disney. Even if you're going to Orlando for all day theme parks and not planning on being in your rooms a lot, vacation accommodations can just start to feel cramped. Not just that, but it is a legitimate problem for families who have 3 or more kids to find hotels that allow more than 4 people per room. Our family had that problem when we were growing up because there were 3 kids. Not anymore! Now you know about this magical place called Floridays Resort Orlando, and you can finally fit your whole family in one room with lots of amenities for your next Family Trip! Floridays Resort Orlando has 2 and 3 bedroom suites that are are perfect for families and are so affordable. If the large suites don't completely sell you, stick around and keep reading. We were able to experience everything Floridays Resort Orlando has to offer so that you can get a sneak peek at it, and I can't wait for you to see it all as you read through this post. From the spacious suites and the views from your private balcony to the beautiful pools, you are sure to be patting yourself on the back after making your family's reservation!

The resort has made some stunning upgrades and renovations that really impress! The 3 bedroom suite we stayed in sleeps up to 8, has a fully functional and renovated kitchen with granite counter tops and a beautiful island, tvs in every room, a washer and dryer, a full size refrigerator, 2 bathrooms, a balcony, and the list goes on! This floor plan of the suite really helps you picture it. All 1,306 sqft!

We always look for hotels and resorts with balconies and the ones at Floridays Resort Orlando are great! We love being able to look out from a balcony while on vacation and my Mom and I always like to have morning coffee out there. Ours overlooked the pool area, so every time the girls went out to the balcony they wanted to go to the pool! I couldn't even blame them, it was so fun down there. The main pool is full of a kid's water playscape, while the other pool is a little quieter and geared for adults with a jacuzzi! There is also a poolside Bar & Grill for bites to eat and drinks! There really is something for everyone at this resort! You will see that theme throughout Floridays Resort Orlando, which is the main reason I liked it so much and wanted to check it out and review it for you. My favorite places are the ones that both you and your kids can't wait to visit!

The girls love staying in suites because they get their own room. For some reason, their own room while on adventures is so fun to them. They like that they can watch a movie in their beds (we don't have tvs in bedrooms at home) and chit chat together just the two of them; so they are just really living their best life. Cracks me up! In fact I felt like everyone should get to see LG giving the tour she gave everyone on Instagram. Too cute!

I just love the amount of space that you have. Our suite was almost 4 times the size of the average Orlando hotel room. That's insane to me! You really get way more for your money here! There are pet friendly suites available too (which may come in handy for us one day if the girls keep begging me for a 4 legged best friend). Also, if you're in Orlando for the theme parks, they have shuttle services to and from the parks as well! You can see the shuttle list here.

There are lots of activities for families like dive-in movies at the pool, pool parties, and live music! I will say that my girls' all time favorite thing to do is just playing in the pools. The cafe was under renovations so I didn't get to show you guys that, but they are still open (it's right beside the pool area) and is still serving really yummy food and drinks!

We had such a blast all week in Orlando while staying at Floridays. We went to Wonder Works, Disney Springs, Disney World, Sea World, The Crayola Experience and more! I love sharing my adventures with you, and hope that you will look into booking your vacation accommodations with Floridays Resort Orlando! I promise you, you will not be disappointed! We had a stay that will be remembered forever.
